Under the direction of a faculty dedicated to creating a supportive community, students learn to encourage one another to reach their full potential. She spent 9 years in New York City before moving back to Michigan in 2012. Each student's curriculum is individually tailored to include age- and level-appropriateĬlass and ensemble assignments. An improviser and frequent accompanist for musical improv teams in New York City, Miles Lindahl started playing guitar to impress a girl in 7th grade.

Mannes Prep welcomes students ages 4-18 (pre-K through high school), from beginners through advanced students aspiring to professional careers. David Ralph has appeared as piano and organ soloist in most of New York City’s major concert halls and has toured the United States and Canada as accompanist for professional vocal groups including the Robert DeCormier Singers and the Dusing Singers. Our continuing personal interest in the musical growth of each student is central to the spirit of Mannes. Mannes Prep combines a warm and supportive atmosphere with thorough pre-professional training.
